Founded in 1980 by Shane Leaney, Videopro’s establishment coincided with the introduction of the Video Cassette Recorder. Located in George Street Brisbane, the store started out selling Video Recorders and TVs, and soon thereafter was established as the first Video Movie rental library in Queensland. To this day Videopro still remains an Australian owned and operated business. The current Board of Directors all have active key roles and are hands-on in the daily operations of the business.
